"When I settle into the quietness of making art, it is with some curiosity – observing whether I’m drawn to paint or pastel, plaster or collage at any moment.

 

I follow images and colours as they emerge, discovering in the contemplative flow what the mind wishes to explore, express or reveal of essence, of nature.

 

There’s a common thread throughout this creative process – I’m absorbed by the cycle of life and death, the gifts of love and beauty, the “suchness” of things just as they are, and an awareness of the sacred in the simplest of moments."
